Supplements maybe Harmful to you Health

There are many products of the vitamin or supplement on the market that come with misleading or insufficient information. Therefore, taking them based on the labels can be like playing with health.
  • Vitamin C: Many people take many times the recommended daily dose, no problem. However, very high doses - more than 1 g (1000 mg) can cause diarrhea.

  • Beta-carotene is converted to Vitamin A in the body. Long-term overdose may lead to weaker bones. Vitamin A overdose is very dangerous for pregnant women, due to effects on the unborn baby. For this reason, pregnant women are advised not to take vitamin supplements containing vitamin A (or fish oil supplements, which are rich in vitamin), and do not eat liver.

  • Calcium: Very high doses (over 1,500 mg a day) can lead to stomach upsets.

  • Iron: Too much can cause constipation. The official guide is that 17mg per day should be safe for most people, but some people really need more, for example, if you are receiving treatment for anemia.

  • Zinc: Too much can cause stomach aches and nausea.

Propecia: An Effective Treatment of Male Pattern Hair Loss

Propecia is known to be an effective treatment of male pattern hair loss. It is a brand marketed by the pharmaceutical giant Merck. The main constituent of this brand is Finasteride. The drug finasteride is a synthetic antiandrogen, which is considered to be highly potent treatment for male pattern baldness. According to a study, men with mild to moderate hair loss, 66% of the men who took Propecia daily, re-grew hair loss.

How It Works?
Propecia is known for significantly reducing DHT (dihydrotestosterone), which is the main cause of hair loss. DHT is a substance in the body that can shrink the hair follicle until it no longer produces visible hair. The drug acts by inhibiting type II 5-alpha reductase, the enzyme that converts testosterone to DHT (dihydrotestosterone). By blocking this enzyme, the drug reduces androgenic activity in the scalp, treating hair loss at its hormonal source.

Side Effects:
At first, the drug Propecia is mainly for hair loss in men and should not be taken at all by women or children. Worst still, it should not be even handled in crushed form by pregnant or expecting women as it may result in to a number of birth defects. The drug is said to be causing impotency among men, decreased volume of ejaculation, reduction in the sexual ability, breast enlargement in male, erectile dysfunction and testicular pain.  It is also believed that the drug is effective only for as long as it is taken; the hair gained or maintained is lost within 6–12 months of ceasing therapy.

Forms of Propecia
Propecia is available in the form of tablets (1mg Finasteride). It is available as a film coated tablet in different pack sizes.

Availability:
The product Propecia is a prescription drug, it can be purchased only on the prescription from a registered medical practitioner. However, the best thing about the product is that it is easily available online (need to have valid prescription). There are various online pharmacies that provide this tablet at reduced prices as compared to conventional drug stores. One needs to be very cautious when purchasing online; one needs to make sure that they are sourcing their requirement only through registered pharmacy. The pharmacy also needs to have a long term reputation so that they can do justice as regards pricing and delivery of the product.

Migraine headaches cause intense and acute pain. These headaches are severe enough to hinder day-to-day activities and routine life. Migraine headaches are commonly accompanied by nausea. Often, migraine is preceded by a sensory warning symptoms or signs such as flashes of bright lights, blind spots or distorted vision. These warning symptoms are also known as an aura. Though it is a common condition, women experience these headaches more than men. Migraine can last from 4 hours to 72 hours at a stretch if the headache is untreated.

Considering the severity of Migraine headaches, it is impossible to ignore them. Prevention of Migraine is possible if one can identify its triggers and avoid them. But certain triggers and causes such as weather conditions, stress, hormonal changes, etc. cannot be controlled or avoided. Symptoms of Migraine include pounding headache, diarrhea, loss of appetite, dizziness, sensitivity to sound or lights, nausea, blurred vision, fatigue and very rarely fever. Migraine headache and its symptoms can be treated with help of medication.

Migraine relief medicines are easily available online. Out of multiple brands that are available, Migraleve offers two types of Migraine relief tablets. These tablets are to be taken at different stages of a Migraine attack. Migraleve Pink is to be taken at the first symptom of a Migraine attack. Migraleve Pink contains Paracetamol and codeine that treats the headache while buclizine relieves the nausea. If Migraleve Pink is taken at the first sign of the Migraine attack it can prevent an attack from developing further. Migraleve Yellow can be taken to treat the symptoms if they continue. It contains Paracetamol and codeine. Migraleve Yellow is to be taken only after the first dose of Migraleve Pink.

Migraleve Pink and Yellow are available as different packs as well as a combined pack, Migraleve Complete. The combined pack helps to deal with the symptoms of Migraine and also treat a Migraine attack if it develops.

The frequency of Migraine headaches can be reduced if a healthy lifestyle along with regular exercise is adopted. A conscious effort to avoid Migraine’s triggers also helps to prevent it.  Along with proper timely medication, a complete Migraine attack can be prevented successfully.
