Early Pregnancy Symptoms When Do They Start

Most women begin to suspect that you're pregnant until they miss menstrual period, but there are other symptoms and signs that indicate the early pregnancy symptoms. But a missed period may not confirm that a woman is pregnant even if she has regular cycles, since both emotional and physical conditions may cause absence or delay periods. However you may notice some of the other signs of early pregnancy before it is apparent that the menstrual period has been missed.

When Do They Start?

Here are 5 common symptoms of pregnancy. Sometime you may experience them all, or none of these symptoms. If you have any of the above symptoms, consider taking a pregnancy test as soon as possible.

1. Missed Menstrual Period - Missing your menstrual period is the most clear indication of pregnancy. But as mentioned earlier, it is not be a definitive sign, as stress or other factors may cause irregular periods.

2. Frequent urination - Many pregnant women report having frequent urination, especially at nighttime and she may leak urine with a cough or sneeze. This happens once the embryo is implanted in the uterus and begins producing the pregnancy hormone called human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG). The HCG hormone triggers frequent urination.

3. Fatigue and exhaustion are conditions experienced by women in the during early stages of pregnancy. The cause of this fatigue, though not confirmed, is believed to be related to high levels of the hormone progesterone. Fatigue is another symptom that may be experienced early, in the first weeks after conception.

4. Nausea and Morning Sickness - Also referred to as "morning sickness," the nausea and vomiting associated with early pregnancy can occur at any time of the day or night. Some women who experience morning sickness develop nausea and vomiting about 4 weeks after conception, but it may develop sooner in some cases.

5. Sore Breasts, Tenderness and Pain -

Swelling in the breast, tenderness or pain are also commonly associated with early pregnancy. These symptoms are similar to the way they feel before your period. Due to the change in body harmones, women may feel heaviness or fullness in the breasts. These symptoms can begin as early as 1 to 2 weeks after conception and the pain subsides in due course of time.
